We are near to the picturesque – cosmopolitan resort of Interlaken, Manor Farm offers a lovely lakeside setting, amongst the mountains of the Bernese Oberland. The only campsite set on the South shore of Lake Thunnersee, has direct access to a shingle beach and a grass set beach areas. With spectacular views and scenery in all directions. You can bath or relax on the beaches, also very popular spot to go fishing, windsurfing or Hire boat and explore the area. Manor Farm is divided by a road, which is linked by an underpass, The camping area is flat and grassy, with Mixed pitches, Some with views of the lake and other also enjoy the alpine scenery. Manor Farm is a quiet campsite, ideal for those who are looking for an outdoor holiday, in the fresh mountain air. There is very limited evening entertainment in High season only, Though the nearby resort of Interlaken has a lively hub of bustling bars and cosy restaurants, and a free bus and boat service runs from the site to the town throughout the season. This is a fantastic area for walking, and there are numerous hiking trails locally and through the valleys, as well as many cable cars, mountain trains and lake cruises. We can arrange Train excursions to the Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn mountain peaks.
